Thought For The Day


Thought is energy. Have you ever strived for, or accomplished anything that didn't first start with a thought? As you go about your day, is there anytime that you are not thinking? At night when we sleep, we dream, and some scientists believe that sleep is needed to reorganize our thoughts, and to clear out the clutter. Why then do we go through our lives paying such little attention to our thoughts?

If a million people thought about love very briefly once during the day do you think the world would know more love? I have no doubt it would. What if two million people thought briefly about health twice in one day, would there be better health in the world? I know there would be. Why some people may be skeptical about the energy of thought, in particular positive thinking, is, that many people have set up for themselves, a self-fulfilling prophesy of negative thinking. Positive thought has not been given equal time nor energy in our lives compared to negative thinking, and therefore positive thinking has been brushed off as not effective. Many of us then try extra hard in our actions to gain what we want in our lives in a futile effort to gain the positive without positive thinking, in fact, to gain the positive with negative thinking.

This website is dedicated to you. Its whole purpose is to encouraging us, millions of people around the world, indeed the whole world, to think a daily positive thought for ourselves and for the world, so that we all can experience a happier, more fulfilling, healthier life. It is dedicated to all of us, to make a shift from negative thinking to positive thinking.

You are not alone, your thoughts join with people all over the world who are thinking, saying, meditating, praying, and contemplating the Thought For The Day; abundance, gratitude, life, health, home, peace, freedom, love, joy, and happiness throughout each day of the week. Can you imagine, in each time zone as people wake up and go through their day, the energy of a single thought is exponentially multiplied by millions of people for 24 hours. As you think or say the Thought For The Day for yourself, your loved ones, and the world, know, that like a ripple when a stone is thrown into water, that your thoughts go out into the world, and as your thoughts go out to others, theirs comes to you. There's more than enough for you, receive what you need.

Remember just thinking the Thought For The Day for a second or two, is all it takes. That's it. If done everyday, it can start to set up a pattern of positive thinking, and the positive energy of your thought joins with positive energy of others. You may spend as much or as little time thinking the thought of the day, as you wish, in any way that you choose, as long as you stay positive.

I have written about some areas regarding the thought of the day that may be of help to you. No doubt you can think of many more positive aspects that benefit you, those you care about, your community, and the greater world. We can think these thoughts in their highest form, without attaching any negativity to it.

Sunday - HEALTH*** We can think of our physical health, ways we may want to improve it. We can think of health overcoming illness in prevention and cure for ourselves, our family, friends, neighbors, and people around the world. We can think of health for our pets. We can think of a healthy environment, and for the animals that share our world. We can think of emotional, spiritual and mental health.

Monday - HOME***We can think of the home we have, keeping harmony, peace, and love in our home. If we don't have the home we want, we can think of the home that we would like to have. We can think of homes for those who are homeless in our community, and in the world community.

Tuesday - PEACE and FREEDOM***We can think of these two together. We can think of peace of mind, peace within us, peace in our homes, communities, and in the world. We can think of freedom from oppression, freedom from violence, freedom to be ourselves, freedom to live the lives we were meant to live, and freedom to be creative.

Wednesday - LOVE***Love is available to us in many forms. We may think of love for ourselves, love of our family, friends, spouses, partners, children, and pets. We can think of love of God, or the Divine. We can think of living from a place of love. We can think of loving all people, the animals, and the earth. Love does exist, even if we have not experienced it, or have experienced the loss of loved ones, or if we have been hurt by those we love. Love is available to everyone.

Thursday - JOY and HAPPINESS***We can think of joy coming from within ourselves. We can think of the people, animals, music, places, and things that bring joy into our lives and into the lives of others. We can think of bringing joy to others, and by that, bringing joy to ourselves. We can think of happy times in our lives. We can think of laughter and fun. If we haven't felt joy and happiness in awhile, we can look forward to feeling them again, they are available to all of us.

Friday - ABUNDANCE and GRATITUDE***We can think of having enough of everything we need to live, and maybe more of everything to share with others. We can think of having nutritious and clean food, clean water and air. We can think of having sufficient money and resources. We can think of the work we do or the work we want to do. We can think of the education we have, or the education we want to have for ourselves and our children. We can think of the abundance of bio-diversity of plant and animal life in our world. We can be grateful for all that we have, even if we require more of anything in our lives. We can be grateful for the people in our lives, for people who inspire us, for animals in our lives, for health, for music, for beauty, and for nature.

Saturday - LIFE***We can think of our life and be grateful for it, and of the lives of those we love and care about. We can think about the lives of those who have lived and are no longer here, those living now, and those who will live in the future. We can think of all of the life on earth. We can think of the quality of our lives. We can think of the kind of life we want to live.
